This year, the Philippine business delegation coming to Vietnam to seek suppliers will represent a diverse range of industries and sectors such as logistics, food, electronics, and more.
The event “Connecting International Supply Chains – Vietnam International Sourcing 2025” (VIS 2025) will take place from September 4 to 6 in Ho Chi Minh City. According to registration data, the Philippine delegation is the largest, with 105 participants representing 40 companies and distributors traveling to Vietnam to find sourcing partners.
This marks the first time such a large number of Philippine entrepreneurs have registered to join an annual VIS event, surpassing last year’s record of 70 delegates representing over 20 companies.
The Vietnam Trade Office in the Philippines stated that since early 2025, it has cooperated with the Philippines–Vietnam Business Council under the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) to promote, invite, and organize the delegation of companies, importers, and distribution groups to attend VIS 2025.
The delegation this year covers multiple sectors, including logistics, transportation, pharmaceuticals, food, e-commerce supply chains, hospitals, education, healthcare, housing, paper industry, e-commerce and retail, seafood distribution, agriculture, food and beverages, FMCG, and plastics.

“With this record number of Philippine enterprises attending VIS 2025, it shows that Vietnam is becoming an ideal destination for Philippine businesses to explore cooperation opportunities and source goods to meet the rising demand of Philippine consumers,” a representative of the Vietnam Trade Office in the Philippines emphasized.
The activities of the Philippine delegation will mainly focus on exploring the market, meeting government agencies, attending investment promotion and B2B trade conferences between Philippine and Vietnamese businesses (scheduled for September 3, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City), participating in global supply chain connection events, B2B programs, and on-site visits to factories and production facilities.
VIS is a major initiative organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade since 2023, as part of the Government’s Project “Promoting Vietnamese Enterprises to Directly Participate in Overseas Distribution Networks by 2030”, approved under Decision No. 1415/QĐ-TTg dated November 14, 2022.
Held annually for three consecutive years, VIS aims to expand export and import markets while ensuring long-term sustainable growth. At the same time, the event encourages Vietnamese enterprises to actively participate in global production, supply, and distribution chains, exporting directly to overseas distribution networks by leveraging their strengths and maximizing Vietnam’s export competitiveness.
