Global fashion giant H&M will send a senior sourcing delegation to participate in Vietnam International Sourcing 2025, a trade event organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in coordination with the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, taking place from September 4–6, 2025, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC). This marks H&M’s first appearance at the event and reflects the brand’s growing interest and the strong shift in sourcing strategies toward Vietnamese suppliers—creating significant opportunities to enhance Vietnam’s export profile on the global stage.

Continued Engagement from Nordic Enterprises
According to the Vietnam Trade Office in Sweden, this year’s Nordic business delegation is once again organized professionally with the support of the Trade Office. It includes major names in retail, consumer goods, logistics, and sustainable production.
Among them, the participation of H&M, one of the world’s largest fashion groups, is considered a standout highlight, opening up numerous cooperation opportunities for Vietnamese companies in fashion, textiles, and sustainable supply chains.

Ambassador Trần Văn Tuấn and Commercial Counselor Meet with H&M
In 2023 and 2024, the Vietnam Trade Office in Sweden also facilitated Nordic business delegations featuring brands such as IKEA, Gothenburg Port, F&H, Scanesia, among others, to attend Vietnam International Sourcing. These delegations conducted supplier searches, site visits, and successfully signed several cooperation agreements with Vietnamese companies.
Positive Signs for Collaboration and Connection
With a global operational network, H&M is regarded as a pioneer in building a green supply chain, emphasizing transparency, sustainability, and social responsibility.
Its presence at Vietnam International Sourcing not only presents tangible collaboration opportunities for Vietnamese suppliers, but also enhances the image and credibility of Vietnamese goods and enterprises. It further positions the event as a trusted sourcing destination for leading global brands.

This is the third consecutive year that Vietnam International Sourcing Expo has attracted hundreds of high-quality international buyer delegations.
A Trade Event Focused on Sustainable Supply Chains
Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 will once again take place at SECC, Ho Chi Minh City, with an expanded scale of over 500 exhibiting enterprises and around 300 international buyer delegations.
Key industries include: F&B, consumer goods, furniture, fashion, raw materials, and supporting industries.
In addition to the exhibition, the event will feature a rich lineup of side activities such as thematic seminars, B2B matchmaking, supplier visits, and industrial zone tours. Core topics will focus on EU market entry standards, green transition, logistics, and international brand building.
Expanding Opportunities for Vietnamese Businesses
H&M’s participation this year clearly demonstrates the potential of Vietnamese suppliers to meet stringent European market standards.
The event is a valuable opportunity for domestic businesses to engage with major sourcing channels, strengthen ties with the global value chain, and affirm their position in high value-added industries.
This year’s edition promises not only to be a meeting point between supply and demand, but also a space for professional exchange, experience sharing, and exploring effective partnership models—especially as Vietnam increasingly integrates into the global supply chain and plays a vital role on the world trade map.
