Vietnam International Sourcing 2026 attracts American buyers

With the participation of business delegations, importers, industry associations, and logistics companies from the United States and Brazil, the “Vietnam International Sourcing 2026” (VIS 2026) event series further affirms Vietnam’s attractiveness as an important supply hub in the global value chain.

The United States continues to be a key market.

According to the VIS 2026 Organizing Committee, the Americas region will be one of the international purchasing delegations of considerable size at VIS 2026. Participants will include not only retail corporations, food and consumer goods importers, but also business associations, logistics companies, distributors, and manufacturing partners, creating a diverse and interconnected ecosystem for Vietnamese businesses.

Among the expected participating partners, many businesses and buyers from the United States continue to show great interest in Vietnam’s manufacturing capabilities. Notably, Walmart continues its partnership after several previous participations. The fact that the world’s leading retail corporation continues to seek sourcing from Vietnam reflects the trend of supply chain shifts as well as growing confidence in the quality, manufacturing capacity, and ability of Vietnamese businesses to meet international standards.

Besides Walmart, many US import and distribution businesses such as L&V Food Supply, CT Choice, Viet Kitchen LLC, Camau Food Importer, Viet Xinh US Furniture LLC, along with manufacturing and logistics partners, are also expected to participate in networking activities at VIS 2026. These businesses are interested in various product groups including processed foods, agricultural products, seafood, coffee, spices, beverages, wood products, furniture, household goods, and supporting industrial products.

This is an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses not only to showcase their products but also to directly exchange information on technical standards, traceability, brand development, and the ability to fulfill large-scale orders.

Not only focusing on the US market, VIS 2026 also noted the presence of many organizations and businesses from the Latin American region. The Brazilian Federation of Industry and Commerce (BVCCI) and Brazilian businesses operating in the food sector expect to promote trade and investment cooperation with Vietnamese businesses.

The involvement of business community representative organizations, instead of just individual buyers, will help expand the networking opportunities for Vietnamese businesses with more partners in the region, while also creating a foundation for long-term trade promotion activities.

Towards perfecting the supply chain.

According to the VIS 2026 organizers, a notable aspect of VIS 2026 is the participation of logistics and supply chain services businesses. The presence of partners such as PAX Logistics demonstrates the need for cooperation not only in the buying and selling of goods but also in building logistics solutions, optimizing transportation, reducing costs, and improving supply chain efficiency. This is particularly important for industries such as food, agricultural products, seafood, wood products, and consumer goods when expanding into the American market.

Besides seeking quality suppliers, international buyers are increasingly focusing on criteria related to sustainable development, traceability, environmental standards, social responsibility, and supply chain management capabilities. This is also the direction that VIS 2026 aims for, helping Vietnamese businesses not only promote their products but also demonstrate their responsible production capabilities, meeting the increasingly high demands of the international market.

The presence of business delegations from the United States, Brazil, and many countries in the Americas further affirms the appeal of Viet Nam International Sourcing as a reputable platform for connecting international supply and demand.

Through exhibitions, B2B networking, business surveys, and direct exchanges with buyers, Vietnamese businesses will have the opportunity to access the actual needs of the market, expand their partner network, diversify export markets, and gradually participate more deeply in the global supply chain.

Vietnam International Sourcing 2026, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, will take place from September 3rd to 5th at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City. The event will bring together hundreds of buyers, distributors, importers, and business associations from many countries and territories, further solidifying its role as one of Vietnam’s largest international trade promotion events in connecting supply sources and developing global supply chains.
