Representatives from multinational corporations and diplomatic missions \u2014 including IKEA (Sweden), the Brazil\u2013Vietnam Chamber of Commerce, the Oregon State delegation (USA), as well as the Embassies of Spain and Argentina \u2014 expressed strong impressions of Vietnam\u2019s role in global supply chains and of the event\u2019s professionalism and effectiveness.<\/span><\/p>\n

These optimistic perspectives not only validated the impact of VIS 2025 but also paved the way for a stronger vision toward VIS 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a key sourcing market in Asia, Vietnam continues to be highly valued by international corporations for its role in sustainable supply chains. The Embassy of Sweden expressed pride in seeing leading corporations like IKEA actively participating in Viet Nam Sourcing Expo 2025, viewing this as evidence of \u201cVietnam\u2019s growing importance\u201d in the global green supply ecosystem.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cVietnam is an important material sourcing market for IKEA suppliers with many renewable materials with lower CO2 impact. We hope that Vietnam International Sourcing event can continue to be the platform that we can emphasize building and sharing knowledge to improve wood sourcing practices, and by that enhance local livelihoods, climate resilience, and sustainable forest management to embrace any changes in different markets.\u201d, said Per Ljungblad, Category Manager of Natural Fibres of South East Asia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Interest from Latin America was also notable at VIS 2025. A delegation from Brazil, led by the Brazil\u2013Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, actively engaged in various exhibition activities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Maria Helena Afonso, a representative of Brazilian enterprises, expressed admiration for the dynamism of the Vietnamese market and the professionalism of the event\u2019s organization.<\/span><\/p>\n

Latin America \u2014 a market of more than 650 million people \u2014 continues to show strong demand for Vietnamese products such as rice, coffee, seafood, and consumer goods. The Brazilian delegation highlighted that the expo serves as a practical bridge, enabling both sides to find common ground and shape sustainable, win-win partnerships.<\/span><\/p>\n

Innovation and Production Capacity Recognized by U.S. Delegates<\/b><\/h2>\n

The U.S. business and legislative delegation from Oregon also attended VIS 2025 to explore cooperation opportunities in technology and trade.<\/span><\/p>\n

Daniel Nguyen, Oregon State Representative, emphasized similarities between Oregon and Vietnam \u2014 especially in creative talent, innovation, and rapidly developing high-tech industries.<\/span><\/p>\n

The U.S. delegation was impressed by the production capabilities of Vietnamese enterprises, recognizing Vietnam as a competitive manufacturing center offering high-quality products at reasonable costs \u2014 a key advantage as global supply chains push for diversification.<\/span><\/p>\n

Evan Clark, founder of U.S.-based B2B platform Sampan, shared optimism about future collaborations in technology integration and B2B distribution. As a business actively bringing Vietnamese goods into U.S. retail channels, he observed that Vietnamese suppliers are \u201chighly dynamic and ready to adopt digital solutions and e-commerce.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The U.S. team anticipates new projects in technology transfer, supply chain investment, and cross-border distribution after the expo.<\/span><\/p>\n

A Strong Bridge for European Partners<\/b><\/h2>\n

VIS 2025 continued to serve as an effective trade bridge between Vietnam and Europe. Delegations from the Embassy of Spain and the Polish enterprise cluster Automotive and Machinery Upland praised the event\u2019s role in supporting EU companies exploring opportunities in Vietnam.<\/span><\/p>\n

With advantages from trade agreements such as the EVFTA, Vietnam is becoming an increasingly attractive sourcing destination for European importers.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Tran Van Tuan, Commercial Counselor of Vietnam in Sweden, the participation of major brands like H&M and IKEA highlights VIS as a trusted platform for global brands seeking to expand supply chains in Vietnam.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year, the event gathered more than 300 buying delegations from over 30 countries and showcased over 12,000 export-ready products across various sectors \u2014 reinforcing VIS\u2019s reputation as a gateway for Vietnamese businesses to reach the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

Of particular note, the Automotive and Machinery Upland cluster from the Lublin region of Poland conducted multi-sector economic promotion activities in Vietnam in conjunction with VIS 2025. In a LinkedIn update, the cluster shared that they held vibrant B2B sessions with Vietnamese enterprises, meetings with the Central and Eastern European Chamber of Commerce, factory visits, and specialized seminars \u2014 fostering international partnerships and exploring opportunities to enter the Asian market.<\/span><\/p>\n

These positive responses show that Viet Nam Sourcing Expo is not merely a regional trade event but a practical platform enabling deeper understanding and long-term cooperation between Vietnamese and international enterprises.<\/span><\/p>\n

Toward VIS 2026: Larger Scale, Broader Connections<\/b><\/h2>\n

The achievements and favorable feedback from VIS 2025 serve as a strong foundation for shaping the direction of Viet Nam International Sourcing Expo 2026. According to the newly announced plan, VIS 2026 will take place from <\/span>August 26\u201328, 2026<\/b>, at SECC (Ho Chi Minh City) with an expanded scale of approximately <\/span>15,000 sqm<\/b>, significantly larger than in 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

The exhibition content will also expand, featuring four specialized zones:<\/span><\/p>\n
